The Intevia® E-Kit enables designers and engineers to experiment with the technology, share ideas and innovate new products and solutions.

You can use the components of the Intevia® E-Kit to demonstrate different features of the technology:

  • As stand-alone fasteners that are remotely unlocked and provide self-diagnostics and event logging
  • As a network of hosted fasteners to provide sequential functioning and network diagnostics

Power Sources

Power Sources

Fastening mechanisms can be powered from all standard 12VDC inputs, either from line power or battery supply. Other voltages can be accommodated per individual datasheets. 

Intevia® Fastener Power Module (FPM) shown. Standard catalog products recommended for most applications.
Input Devices

Input Devices

Fastening mechanisms can be directly operated by any button, keypad, RFID proximity system, or custom protocol that outputs a contact closure signal.

Fastening mechanisms are individually addressed and can be networked and controlled in a variety of ways to fit your needs.

The fastening mechanisms can control and report feedback from devices such as microswitches, tilt switches, strain gauges, pressure sensors, accelerometers, temperature sensors and any other sensor type that is required to sense information relating to the environment around the fastening mechanism.
