Intevia^® Fastening Mechanism Interconnect Modules (FIM)

• Three modules included in the Intevia^® E-Kit
• Provides facilities for:
  • The connection of fasteners to the Fastener Powering Module (FPM)
  • The interconnection of two fastening mechanisms in a primary and secondary mechanism control configuration
  • Establishing of RS-485 network connections between fastening mechanisms and from mechanisms to the Universal Control Module (UCM)
• Also provides a momentary contact pushbutton for fastening mechanism operation control and two bicolor status LEDs for the primary and secondary mechanisms respectively
• Contains only passive wiring interconnect facilities and no active circuitry
• All intelligence for fastening mechanism operation, sensing and auxiliary output control is provided by the electronics embedded in the mechanism
