In-Line Fastening Mechanisms
Intevia® in-line actuated fasteners are designed for medium load repetitive use applications.
The fastening mechanism uses a pair of locking jaws to capture a specially profiled stud as it is inserted into the body of the fastener. Designed with a slim-line profile less than 0.4 inches wide, Intevia® in-line fasteners are ideal for applications such as access panels and cabinet door locking.
In-line fastening mechanisms are currently in production and are available for general latching applications. An aerospace compliant variant is also available to meet commercial aviation standards.
